Hiring Interior Architects and Designers in Jersey, Channel Islands
We are hiring qualified Interior Architects and Designers in Jersey, Channel Islands



We're currently looking for interior designers who have a solid understanding of the interior design process with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The ideal interior designer/s should have a solid understanding of both High-End Residential and Commercial interior design processes in accordance with industry-standard practice. A high level of technical drawing skills, freehand sketching skills and FF&E procurement are compulsory for this role, as the ideal candidate will be required to carry a project from concept to completion.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Graduate with a BA in Interior Design or Interior Architecture and Design

  • Have a good understanding of UK Building Bye-laws, regulations and building codes

  • Have previous experience in CAT A and CAT B and working with private clients, tenants, landlords and developers.

  • Confident and efficient in compiling full project presentation packages: drafting of floor plans, working/construction drawings (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry/joinery)

  • Confident in liaising with contractors on all levels

  • Project management from conceptual phase to handover

  • Highly creative and conceptual thinker

  • Follow procedure in accordance with standard industry practice

  • Exceptional visualisation and presentation skills

  • Hand-drawn sketching skills are compulsory for this role

  • Team player and willingness to learn and follow clear instructions

  • Have a full understanding of industry-standard FF&E procedures and produce physical concept and sample boards for client presentation

As a professionally qualified interior designer, you will need solid experience in the following software:

  • AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD or Vectorworks Architect

  • Sketchup Pro

  • Vray Next Rendering or Unreal Engine

  • 3Ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite or Apple Mac Affinity Photo and Designer
